Wie Two And A Half Men weitergehen sollte
Here's my pitch:
Season 9 starts with a caption "1 year later". We see a funeral scene, with Alan, Jake, Evelyn, Judith, Herb, Chelsea and Mia attending it and Rose as a grieving widow. We get aware that it is Charlies funeral. An endless line of sexy women, whom Charlie slept with (Cameos ahead) go to the open grave an throw a rose upon the coffin. Jake might make a sarcastic remark, that there was actually no body found and Charlies tragic car accident happend one week after he got a letter from the IRS with Rose giving him an innocent smile. Just in case they wanna bring Sheen back on the show...
Anyway: Alan thinks he inherits the house and is excited, maybe even hits on one of the girls with the hook-up line of him being rich and having a Malibu beachhouse. At this point, the viewer should really think that Alan takes over Charlies role. But what Alan and the viewer don't know is that Charlie inherits all his belongings to Jake. The girl turns away from Alan since he is not rich after all.
So Alan has to live from the goodwill of his son, but may stay at the beachhouse.
Also, at the funeral, Herb hooked up with the same bimbo Alan tried to score ("I'm a doctor - I am actually rich"). When Judith finds out, she kicks Herb out and he moves in with Alan and Jake.
